FCCLA is the perfect activity for anyone and everyone regardless of your future career plans. This activity looks amazing on college applications because it encourages you to get involved in your community. Our members are given numerous volunteer opportunities, chapter activities and events to get involved, including national FCCLA week in February. FCCLA stands for Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America. Through this organization, members learn leadership skills to help them achieve their goals. FCCLA is a branch of Family and Consumer Sciences (FCS) which teaches you skills that are helpful when dealing with human development, personal and family finance, relationships, housing and interior design, food science, nutrition, wellness, textiles, and consumer issues. These organizations are essential for preparing students for life in college and a future career!
