Cory Johnson elected to board of Minnesota School Boards Association
District 196 School Board Chair Cory Johnson was elected to the Minnesota School Boards Association (MSBA) Board of Directors Jan. 13 during MSBA’s annual Leadership Conference in Minneapolis.
Johnson will serve a three-year term as a director, through 2026, representing school board members in the south metro area. MSBA is comprised of 13 districts. School board members from each district elect one board member to a seat on the Board of Directors, which oversees the organization.
MSBA is a statewide nonprofit organization representing 332 public school boards in Minnesota. MSBA provides technical assistance, advocates for public school students and offers training opportunities for board members.
