(NEW)  BOYS JV SOCCER WINS ONE AND LOSES ONE

In an action-packed game at Eastview last Thursday night, the boys JV soccer team soundly defeated the Lakeville South Cougars. Eastview scored first, but the Cougars bounced back and tied it up 1 to 1.

Eastview took the lead back and never relinquished it scoring 5 goals throughout the game. Defender Ryan Whalen and forward Robbie “The Flash” Crouch each put one in the net, and striker Cole Trinkle got a hat trick with 3 goals. The Lightning defeated Lakeville South 5 to 3.

On Saturday, the Lightning faced Park Cottage Grove at home. Eastview had several shots on goal in the first half, but Park was the first on the board with a header off a corner. Eastview went into the half down 0 to 1. After several great passes and shots on net, the Lightning put one in the net when Robbie Crouch scored on a through ball and tied it up 1 to 1.
