PARENT SECTION

FEEPAY SITE OFFLINE

The FeePay site remains offline as of Tuesday. Sourcewell continues to work through issues experienced during the update process that began over winter break. Persisting issues may include the inability to login, complete meal account fund deposits, sign up for activities and reset passwords.

No student would be denied a regular school lunch if they do not have funds in their account; this does not include a la carte items. Students can also bring cash or a check for lunch.

The District Office remains in regular communication with Sourcewell, the company that owns FeePay, and will notify families when the system is back online. We apologize for the inconvenience and we appreciate your patience during this time.

(NEW) EASTVIEW HIGH SCHOOL BOYS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL FALLS TO LAKEVILLE NORTH HIGH SCHOOL 72-57

January 7: The Eastview JV Boys Basketball team fell to Lakeville North 72-57 on Tuesday night. A high offensive first half saw the Lightning take a two point lead at half. The Panther defense was too much for the Lightning in the second half and pulled away for a 15 point victory. Brady Schmitz led the Lightning offense with 17 points followed by Kenji Scales with 12 points. Grayson Stalboerger added 8 points and Aryan Kohli chipped in 7 points. The Lightning are 9-2 overall and play at Apple Valley on Friday. Go, Lightning!

(NEW) EASTVIEW HIGH SCHOOL GIRLS JUNIOR VARSITY BASKETBALL FALLS TO LAKEVILLE NORTH HIGH SCHOOL 49-32

January 7:  The JV Girls Basketball team struggled to match the intensity and aggressiveness of a strong Lakeville North team last night in a game which resulted in the Lightning going down by a score of 32-49. Early foul trouble for a couple of players resulted in a short bench and contributed to the team's woes. It was a tough night for them as they committed several turnovers and too many points in transition. Lauren Machacek was the leading scorer and Britta Hagen and Madi Wodele were the leading rebounders. The girls hope to turn things around on Friday in a contest against Apple Valley

LEARNING COMMONS

THANK YOU & NEW WISH LIST ITEMS

The Learning Commons has recently received three significant donations of common household/garage goods from our wish list.  We were able to further stock our makerspace and shared some of the supplies with the applied math classes.  Thank you for your generous donations to build our Zapp Lab and other hands on work spaces!

We have added a few new items to our wish list, but have a special request. As your family may be upgrading your phone technology, please consider donating old phones to the Learning Commons.  We have a set of Google Cardboard Virtual Reality headsets, but no devices to project the videos.  The minimum requirement is simply a functioning phone which can connect to the internet.  We will be able to access hundreds of virtual tours with minimal investment and provide students with a whole new way to interact with rich learning opportunities.  Check out a sample video here and even more amazing with virtual reality!

WHAT'S HAPPENING IN THE LEARNING COMMONS
