EVCF BOARD TREASURER NEEDED

The Eastview Community Foundation is seeking a new Treasurer to serve on their Board of Directors.  Responsibilities include monthly bookkeeping, check-writing, financial reports and general service to the Board.  Attendance at monthly meetings is required, along with approximately 3-5 hours per month outside of meetings for completion of financial tasks.  Experience with QuickBooks is desired, but not mandatory.  Visit www.evcf.org for more information about the work of the EVCF and contact EVCF Chair, Bridget Handke, at Bridget.Handke@evcf.org to express interest or for more information.

URGENT - SENIOR PARTY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

Senior Parents:  IMPORTANT: Senior Party planning is moving along, though we still need some help in critical areas.  Over the past many years, previous party-planning committees have developed various processes to generate funds for the party. We are seeking one or two parents to help monitor and market these opportunities. Please contact party@eastviewseniorparty.org if you can assist.  The party is reliant on leadership for this committee.

Please click here EVHS Committee Volunteer Sign Up to access the volunteer website.  You can also contact the executive committee chairs (Cassi Nelson & Melanie Vincent) via the Senior Party email address party@eastviewseniorparty.org for more information.

GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS

(NEW) GLOVES, SCARVES & HATS DRIVE

Eastview’s Student Council is collecting new and gently used gloves, scarves and hats. Items will be donated the House of Charity (Minneapolis). Donations will be accepted in Room C232, the Main Office, and the Attendance Office until Friday, December 6. Please contact John Kelly with questions. Thank you for your support.

(NEW) MOMS & NEIGHBORS

Since its inception 10 years ago, Moms & Neighbors has raised more than $250,000 for teens and families in ISD 196.

We work closely with local school counselors, social workers, church advocates, and law enforcement. We want to be an additional tool in their tool box to provide local families or teens with the assistance they truly need, while respecting their privacy.

Assistance can range from grocery and gas gift cards, clothing, to payment of an overdue bill. Though what we give varies as much as our recipients’ needs, it is always rewarding and surprising to see how powerful an anonymous act of kindness can be.

If you are interested in helping this holiday season, click on the link or contact Angie Talbot, the Eastview Moms and Neighbors Kindness Ambassador.

ATTENTION AFTERNOON BUS-RIDERS

Our buses will be in a new arrangement in the bus corral after school.  See this map for your new bus location.  This was also sent out to you in Schoology and will be available at the West Doors on your way out.
