All Families are encouraged to apply for Educational Benefits

All families are encouraged to complete an Educational Benefits Application, formerly the free and reduced-price meals application. Your children may qualify! Applications for the 2022-23 school year are available.

State funds help pay for reduced-price school meals, so all students who are approved for free or reduced-price school meals will receive school meals at no cost. State funds also help pay for breakfasts for kindergarten students, so all participating kindergarten students receive breakfast at no cost. A NEW application must be submitted each year.

If a household meets the State/Federal guidelines and is approved this provides students with school meal benefits and supports your child’s school. Your approved application provides critical funding to our school district. This compensatory aid helps increase funding for teachers, paraprofessionals and social workers to include math and reading support. An approval for educational benefits also allows families to receive discounted Activities/Community Education fees.
