Directed by Scott Durocher, JJ Miller, Jan Battles and Jennifer Taylor James
Synopsis from The Dramatic Publishing Company:
Mother has a meatloaf in the oven and is well on her way to having the perfect dinner party, but one thing stands in her way—the end of the world as we know it! Is that going to stop her perfect party from happening? Not at all! Like moths to a flame, the house lights are attracting all types of unexpected guests. Join her in The Perfect Ending as she juggles a grease monkey, looting neighbors, an insurance salesman, her son's juvenile delinquent girlfriend and many other zany characters in an attempt to maintain a perfect house and to be the absolute perfect hostess, right up until the very last moment. Will the world come to an end, or will Mother get to have her perfect dinner party?

About Eastview Performing Arts
The Eastview High School Performing Arts Department has been recognized both statewide and nationally as a benchmark of excellence. The department continually produces state and national qualifiers in our Speech and Debate programs and has repeatedly been named a School of Excellence by the National Forensics League. Eastview annually yields numerous students who are recognized by the Minnesota Music Educators Association as All State vocal and instrumental musicians. These programs often travel nationally and internationally to share their musical talents. Additionally, the Theatre program has established itself as a driving force in the Hennepin Theatre Trust’s Spotlight Music Theater Program earning well over 100 awards and earning the coveted Outstanding Overall Production for every musical evaluated.
These quality endeavors provide opportunities for approximately half of our Eastview students (1000) to be involved in our dance, music or theater programs during and/or after school.
These programs are supported by dedicated teachers and staff who have significant experience in their field. Our students have the ability to take private music lessons as well as experience professional sound and choreography from adjunct staff members. Many of these activities take place in our state-of-the-art 640 seat Performing Arts Center that includes a multi-line fly loft and dedicated scene shop for set construction. Our experienced staff, supportive community and quality facilities provides our students a value-added public high school performing arts experience. For more information please Contact Dr. Robert Franchino at 952-431-8907.
The Eastview Dance Department is dedicated to supporting performing arts in our school and greater community.
The Eastview Speech Team has produced over 23 state champions and eight National Forensic League Champions since 1997.
